We currently do not use advertising, Cloudflare Web Analytics or any third-party analytics tool. We do use our own script to check that the site is working. It sends to our own collection path (oaran.com/api/telemetry/…); the recipient is oaran, not a third-party advertising or analytics company. It sends three things.

What is never sent: the names you type, the twelve answers of the ideal-type test, the types you pick on the MBTI page, the drawn result, the words you search for — no input and no result text appears in any of these reports. They are not hashed, and they are not sent as a length or a bucket either. Copied text, the full URL and search terms are not included. There is exactly one exception: what you write yourself in “Feedback” above is sent as you wrote it — which is why we ask you not to put personal details there. “The calculation ends in your browser” (§1) and “we count only what was done” are two different statements, and both still hold.

The purpose is to see which pages are actually used, whether people reach a result, and where things break, so we can fix them. It is not used for ad targeting, profiling, sale or sharing with others. There is no login and no cookie set by us; the temporary identifier above lives only in browser memory and is not written to storage, so after a while it becomes a different value. IP addresses and user agents (UA) are not among the things we collect: the store that holds these records has no column for either, and the region, device and referral columns are pinned empty. This report is still an internet request, so the collecting server counts the caller only as a value mixed with a key that rotates daily, to hold back floods of requests, and keeps no original address in the records. The access logs your hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps when you visit the site are covered separately in §2.

On the Korean MBTI page, type codes may appear in the shared URL, for example ?a=INTP&b=ENTJ. This information may also appear in access logs.

If — and only if — you create a “try it together” invite link on the Korean name-compatibility page (/gunghap/ko), that browser stores a random invite number and the time you made it, and nothing else (up to 20 of them, for 30 days). No name, answer or result is stored, and this value is never sent to us. The invite link itself carries nothing but that random number.

You can send feedback from inside the site with the “Send feedback” button at the bottom right. That box takes no reply address, so we cannot write back. Do not include passwords or authentication information.
